Ok so i just got a 1991 Camaro RS, and this kid that i know from school has a 1996 Saturn SL and acts like he can take me. He talks all kinds of **** to me. i know i can take him but what do you guys think? Bad kill, small win, even, saturn wins? any ideas? he talks about how his STOCk saturn with the 1.9 liter 4 cyl engine can hit 120mph easily, i was like yea right . O also could a 1997-1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue beat a Monte carlo SS and a 1996 Impala SS? I know it can't but he says he's taken both on with his moms oldsmobile.

 

Strange things can happen. My bro whooped *** on a ?05? silverado with his g/friends 06 saturn ion. They were playing the passing game on the freeway and my bro also has an 05 silverado so he knew two things.
1: The silverado will cut out at 100mph
2: The saturn will not!
Once they hit 100 the saturn kept going and my bro just waved BYE, BYE

 

well i used to own a 98 saturn sl1 and it would top out at 105 mph, so i doubt he could take you, unless you accelerate slowly

 

On an slightly unrelated topic, I took down a Subaru SVX with my 97 SL2, and I've had it up to 95 with little effort, and still had some room on the tack before the rev limiter kicks in. It COULD take a camaro with a V6, if the driver had a bad shift, or something like that.

 

Ive gotten the same **** from a ***** at my school with a non type s Acura RSX with 160RWHP @8100RPM!!!!! i was like " if you could even get the engine to rotate that fast, still i have over 100 more ftlbs of torque than you!!!" i wanna shut that f**ker up, especially when i get my Ram Air hood hwe will **** himself when i revv it up. so ive heard it once and so ill tell everyone again...."horsepower sells cars, but torque wins drags...QED"

I've just picked up a '97 SL2 for My boy and I'll tell You its pretty damned quick. i don't think it could take a V8 camaro but it'd give a V6 Camaro fits.
