Default Repair Timing Belt on 92 SS

I'm a newbee and have a question on the timing belt. I can't find any answer. I have a '92 Camaro SS and someone said the timing belt is bad. Anyone have any repair pages or specs? I really love my car and want to get it fixed.

First, there werent any SSs in 92.

The only SS (super sport) were produced from 1967-1972 and then again in 1996-2002. You don't have a timing belt, you have a timing chain. and it is located in the front of your motor right behind the water pump (v8). Do you have a v8 or a v6? Go to your local autozone or advanced and they will have manuels strictly for your camaro. made by either chiltons or haynes. Good luck

must be an rs. dont just jump in and replace the timing chain. lets hear what is going on with the car. does it run? have u tried tuning it up, plugs and plug wires will do wonders if they are bad. welcome to the greatest form ever.
