Not being able to crank the engine is not a an ignition problem. The clicking is the sound of the starter solenoid energizing. When the solenoid energizes it is supposed to feed battery power to the starter motor and move the starter gear into contact with the flywheel gear. Assuming all battery and ground connections are good, it is possible that the solenoid is bad, starter drive is bad, starter is jammed or not shimmed properly, engine seized, the starter is actually bad, or battery not fully charged.

try jumping it to see if the battery is dead... if it strts then let it run a while and shut it off and try again... if it wont start i suggest a new battery

it still could be the solenoid is bad, when they bench test it bypasses the solenoid and just tests the starter motor itself, try jumping the starter and see if that works
