ok... i bought a 20 dollar red hots glass pack and put it on today no cats... going from stock to that was crazy its really loud... louder than my friends straight piped truck... i really like the sound but do you think its over the legal limit of decibles? i beleive its something like 86db here in michigan

 

wait they get louder, lol. the glass gets burnt and/or blown out after time.

 

...and glasspacks will burn out even faster if you install them with the exhaust blowing into the louvers, instead of over them.
You could always install resonator tips, they do quiet the exhaust down a bit.

 

summit racing sells baffles that you put in the glass packs to reduce the noise they are not actually designed for that they are for sport imports i did the same thing keeps me from getting pulled over more than i use to
