Default does this work??

I own an 85 camaro that has a 2.8 in it. i bought a 1978 350 with 4 bolt mains and am in the process of prepping it for a swap on my car. bolted up to my 2.8 is a 5 speed tranny. i dont have the means to measure my bellhousing or a bellhousing at all for the 2.8 and was wondering if my transmission will bolt up to my 350??

the 2.8 is a 60 degree motor, the 350 is a 90 degree. you're going to need a new bellhousing, plain and simple

You need to find a T5 bellhousing from a small block chevy. You can check your local salvage yards or even ebay. Just make sure it's from an 82-92. That way the trans will be clocked in the correct position. You'll also need a special clutch disc that has the 14 spline hub with the larger friction disc. Better yet try getting a complete T5 trans from a V8.
