92 rs wont start

ok so see if there is juice getting to the underhood electical center or fuse box in the engine compartment. if there is then the fusable link is not the problem. next heres what i found in the book, see if my photo skills are improving. theres a starter enabler relay that it could be. my pics suck

this is a different way. just trying to get them bigger. we ll see how it goes.

that didnt work. if u cant read pm me your email and ill send em that way and then u can blow them up to read.

no cant see them but i found the problem. well u knoe the orange covered white wires that come from the key...well after the connector it turns into a purple and brown wires.. the purple one was cut about 2inches from the connector but was still being held on by the plastic insulator....rewired and runs fine now.. thanx every1 for ur hard work.

wow same thing as marc had happen to him. i wonder if its a problem with design. alllright another camaro back on the road.

Don't feel bad mighty mike, it took me a few days of troubleshooting and checking just about everything else before i decided to check the key switch. Glad you got her going!!!

thanx guys. but my friend is lucky to have me and us cuz he was getting ready to start rippin apart his stuff, start buyin injectors and all the good stuff. told him it was something simple.

my 92 w/305 when i turn key sometimes i get nothing i wait 5-10 minutes then starts no clue why maybe someone could help both us? try changeing ignition switch on collum

terry clean the connections at the battery. the wire ends and the battery posts or contact points depending on what kind of battery u have, also if yours is like mine, clean the wires at your junction box (red plastic box) by the battery on the passenger side wheelwell. see what that does.
