91 camaro won't start 3.1 v6
ok i have a 91 camaro with a 92 3.1 firebird engine, bought the car a few weeks ago, not running. put the firing order back in order replaced plugs in cylinders 2 through 6, started right up. started for 2 or 3 days straight and ran for at least 20 mins before shutting it off. then about a week after that i drove it up to the store to get some gas in it (2 miles down the road) accelerated really slow.... then a few days after that i finally got the chance to replace the plug in the number 1 cyclinder... and now it wont fire right. starts for a few seconds and dies, then when i crank it again it fires halfway but won't start, or it just cranks and don't fire.... any help with this?
btw the car sat for a year or so. guy i bought it from said he replaced the cap, rotor, fuel filter, fuel pump, module on the distributor and plugs and wires....

aparently the rotor does not look like its been replaced.... does anyone know how far away the rotor tip and the cap terminals are supposed to be when it fires the plugs.... i got almost a half inch between them all.... when the rotor spins.... is that bad or normal? unscrewed the cap and had it sitting there loose if i would lean it from one side or the other the car would fire up... but not run very long.... also when i removed the cap completely, i moved the rotor up and down with the ignition on, and it makes a noise almost like its not making enough contact? could i have a bad distributor, or could it just be the rotor?
