i have a 84 camaro the is not running right now. i dont know what to do and about to give up. it has a v6 2.8l. the carb has been cleaned new fuel filter, and new gas. it does start but dies like 2sec later, im lost. also it has not ran since like 2004. i need some help here please or the wife is going to make me get rid of it. and i dont want to.

 

fuel pump keep going after engine started? if it has electric. did it run when it was parked?
