This is for a 91 RS with a 700R4 trans. I had replaced the transmission with a refurbished one also got a new trans mount and shifter cable. I started really driving it in july aug, and now the shifter cable had broke. I figured since I got it from advanced auto maybe it was just a cheap cable so I got a replacement from camaro central. And now again soon as it was put on it seemed fine but after a while from the test run the cable broke again in the exact same place and the same bend it did on the other cable. What could cause this to happen, could they both been bad cables but to break and bend at the same spot? or could it be a bracket the cable connects to?
