just like the topic says, how do i adjust the shifter cable from inside?

It don't adjust from inside if I remember right.

No way to adjust the TV cables from inside the car.

And the shifter cable has to be done down at the tranny.

got the problem solved. before i got a chance to look, my boss rolls under the car and found the problem. bolt fell out of the tranny, which made the bracket come loose. somehow, i didnt lose any fluid
