I blew up my tranny on my 88 2.8 v6. I'm working on building a 383 right now for it but its my daily driver so i want to put a tranny in it that i can use when my new engine is done. A friend of mine told me a 350 turbo would bolt right up to the 2.8 with a few minor mods. I'm trying to get it back on the road and not have to get another tranny when my engine is done. Any advice?

 

The Chevy T350 has a V8 small block bolt pattern, it fits V8's and the 4.3 V6.
It won't bolt to your 2.8.
