Default new slave cylinder shot out of tranmission

i have 97 lt1 with a t56. the slave cylinder broke (shot out in side of the tranny) and the clutch fork broke in have. It has a low milage centerforce stage clutch. We put the clutch fork in and the new slave bled the slave and when we statred it and pushed the clutch in the broke the plastic bolt holes and shot out of the transmission. Any ideas what i did wrong?

Possible the pressure plate got jammed somehow. Was the clutch acting weird at all before the first slave took a dump?

I was pulling up to back in my drive way and pushed the clutch in. There was a lot of resistance so I pushed harder and it broke.

Sure sounds like something inside the bellhousing is jammed, limiting or completely stopping travel with the pressure plate. For starters, you'd want to peek inside and see if you can see the release bearing moving along with the fork.

It has a newer f1 stage 2 clutch in it the previous owner put in. I only put about 75 miles on it before the fork broke. Yesterday I saw a polished ring around the presure plate. I bought a oem replacement clutch kit. I'm putting it on today. The replacement slave cylinder they gave yesterday is cast metal and has a bleader screw. It's identical to the old plastic one with no bleader in size.

I replaced the clutch with a oem from advanced auto and put a new slave on. It has a loud ticking while idling. I used a stethscope and found the noise is in the bell housing. Any ideas what it is?

Bad throwout (release) bearing perhaps.
