Default LT1 and Trans swap

I have a 92 camaro v6 700R4. I can get a 94 caprice complete with LT1 and trans. I have been told i can make the swap with little issue and have been told its going to take a machine shop and much cash to make it happen. Whats the answer guys?

It depends on you. I have seen Lt1 transplanted into just about everything. It even pretty common in hot rods. I can not think of any parts hat would not be availble but your going to need a lot of parts from a V8 L98 camaro to support the Lt1 HP.

I think the biggest question I have is the rear. My 92 has that funky bracket that holds the rear steady that hooks to the Tranny.

the lt1 has that same torque arm... your going to want heads from a camaro lt1 (there aluminum vs cast iron in the caprice)
