Hi all,
I have a 92 z28 5.7.
I want to know if I can use a turbo 350 tranny (vacuum type) in place of a 700 r4.

The 700r4 I have wont shift out of second.

Shifts fine from first to second but then that's it.
Any help or advice on what to check for the not shifting 700r4 or whether I can replace it with a turbo 350 would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like might be a shift servo. is the tv cable adjusted right? have u called a trany shop and asked them about it. never know could get an answer. or not. lol. didnt get to second yr mechinics so i missed auto trans. the newer style wasnt around then anyways. lol. i dont think a th350 is a easy switch. if memory serves me the mounts are different. would be nice if a shift kit would fix. so it wasnt slipping between gears before it went.
