Default clutch slave cylinder install???

i just recently bought a 91 rs camaro from the fellow i work with. it's a very enjoy car to ride in and is a lot to handle with a rebuilt 350 carburated motor in it, just a little performance change from the stock 305 that would normally come in it. It's been sittin in my yard for the past week or so and i have been dieing to drive it. Unfortenatly i cant, i was driving down the road one day and i was coasting into a turn in nuetral adn just as i pressed the clutch in to put it in gear the clutch pedal went slack all the way to the ground. So, i coasted into a nearby parking lot to wear i could check out what was goin wrong. my clutch slave cylinder was hanging on the ground with fluid everywhere. it broke of the mount on the transmission and im going to need to get a new one. i have no idea how to install one and bleed out the lines. i've never fooled with a standard transmission and i'm cluesless on how to do it. Any shed knowledge on how to do it or a website or video link would be greatly appreciated.

Hey man, go to auto zone, get a haynes manual or better yet a chilton's if you can find it. Best thing in the world to have.

The clutch slave is cheap bro so no worries there. And installing it is a breeze to. I just did mine on my z28 yesterday.

i hear that man, appreciate it. I'm in route to o'riellys tommorow for my first day off in a while to get it (35$ when i called and asked for price), in addition to a book for my car. i figured it should be easy, it's just not my subject

Unless your area is diffrent than mine, I would stay away from o'reileys. Here they cost about a third more than advance auto or autozone. Not to mention always seems to be a 17 year old ***** behind the counter. It is easy bro...but the best investment you can make is that book. I promise you you will not regret it!

yeah i hear that, i've alway found good service and help at advanced and autozone. but, i go to an o'reilys close to my work place (in south, AL) because of the distance conveinience and a price discount from a freind of mine who works there. im pumped bout figurin out how to get it back on the road, temps are dropin here and i think the ol' camaro will like it. appreciat your commenting on my thread and the suggestions, deffinatly getin me a book!!
