Thanks for all the help I know I can be a pain in the a** most of the time I will update the post if that was the problem or the tranny is bad

 

The tranny is complete toast I actually have 1st 2nd and rev then found out mine was an Tbi instead of a carb 305

 

typical failure on the 700r4/4l60

yup, it's gutta (is that a word) come out. Don't go crazy looking for a honking rebuild because that engine isn't going to kill the stock trans even with headers.

 

I know it won't I want to build a 302 or a 283 to put in would it bolt up to the 700r4 and if not I have a turbo 350 Trans that I could drop in. Also I'm posting up pics tonight of the car
