Default v8 front coil springs?

I have been useing the v6 front coil springs since i put a 350 under the hood. the car sits low, slight rake, AS always the front nose clip will scrape ..but i know the iroc-z suspension was calibrated for the car (handeling & performance). should i put the v8 springs in?

The V8 springs are designed for a heavier load, so they should not sag as much. Most of the handling calibrations are in the shock absorber valving, sway bar dimension, tires, stiffer springs may be included, but ride height is more of a function of spring lenghth. This means that you can have a car ride higher with softer springs, all depends on how much the spring can be compressed.
