I have a 1989 Chevy Camaro iroc-z with the 5.7L original owner, vehicle has 35,513 Miles i just ordered a whole hit from Jeggs putting a supercharger on vehicle and been working on it and its going really well. But the stock hood will not work the supercharger is around 4" inch`s
taller and hood wont close and i do not want to cut in to the hood, iv searched and called jeggs and every hood i find the scoop, there nice looking but the scoop is not open there is supports and they are filling in the way. Has anyone done a supercharger on this vehicle and if so what did you do about the hood. Jeggs is telling me to use a bird catcher but im not trying to make this thing stand out so much lol.
