thanks guys that is the direction I was thinking, maybe a LITTLE larger cam and call it good, of corse get rid of the OPTI-NO-SPARK. Ya see Murphy and I go way way back, so I don't want to upset him again. LOL

Hey now. Don't knock on the Opti too much. It is was a highly advanced ignition for it's time period and allowed extremely accurate timing. '95 and laters aren't too much of a problem. Heck, my '93 only had it done once and that was at a 117k!

But since you have room to put a normal distributer in there....I would too. Haha

LOL! some of you "premadonnas have it to good" LOL really the opti was centuries ahead of its self, it was just exicuted way way wrong. I work in the machine tool world, and we use optical encoders and scales, and man are they a problem on the oil leaking be-autches. otherwise, movement control to 1000th of a human hair. now that is accurate boys.

by the way MKCoconuts I like the "foot party" going on in your signature, hope mine delivers some of that foot candy for me,
