well, i had a set back. even though i applied for a $5000 spending limit on the summit card and was approved, it was actually only $1000. i talked them up to $1200. so everything BUT the engine is ordered. im meeting with a loan rep at my bank tomorrow and seeing if i can get a personal loan. i just want the car done. im already starting a small list of things i forgot about and still have to get.

and for the trans, its the stock 700r4 that was rebuilt just before i bought the car. new everything internally. once the car is running and driving i will be upgrading the shift kit that is already in it, and adding a larger servo and shift recal for more holding power and higher rpm shifting

ive been neglecting to add anything here, so heres some updates:

ive been having a lot of issues with part compatibility. those being the engine brackets, i didnt save the ones off my old engine, dipstick, u-joint straps and the hedman y-pipe that is made for this car and headers. that simply does not line up, so its getting hacked and welded on. i also had the balancer tool break off in the crank. thank god i only went finger tight then backed it off a half turn, it just unscrewed. also found out the input yoke bearing in the rear has some play, and when priming the oiling system, my gage didnt work.

This project has been on hold for awhile and now I have some time to work on it. The front susp. Has been reworked to hold the extra weight and the motor is in and was running. Will be out there shortly to see if it will start up for me.
