Engine harness, NO. First thing to consider is the 2.8 would only have 6 injectors where as an IROC's TPI would have 8.

Well if he wants to go carb, it would work fine, not if you want to stay fuel injected as mike said.

Ok maybe I better make it clearer. When I say engine harness I was refering to the one that goes to the computer. Now if that is the one the poster is talking of there would be no need for it all all if he goes with a carb. The other harness, from the drivers side, should work for anything. Its just basicly the simple gauges and starter harness.

the harness in the iroc is all messed up, splices everywhere, so i want to use the one from my 2.8, and yes it is going to be a carb, will i have to mess with the computer or anything else i need to know?

Well if its the harness on the left side of the firwal then yes it will work. But you will most likely have to splice onto that one to lengthen wires.
