i think ya'll might be over estimating my dedication to the 305. i'm seriously considering one of the most sacreligious things a chevyman can do. dropping a 460 into my IROC. chevy body and a ford drive train. i wonder if it would spontaneously combust. LMAO. Sick

Who doesn't want to put a ford drive train in their F-Body? They make damn good drive trains, no way around it. I've never been big on their motors, but the trannies and rear ends are near indestructible. Plus, there's the whole third member thing, makes it easier to have one set of gears for street and one for strip. Just stay away from anything made after 1994. That's when they REALLY went downhill... Whatcha gonna do with that 315 you've got in there now?

Yeah, I was afraid you'd say something to that effect. How much power are you looking to get from that 460?

Actually ScottD I'm east of NYC in the middle of Long Island. That's true us New Yorkers do divide the state up by NYC. .

For the record, those of us NORTH of Westchester DO NOT ride cows or live on farms! And my Camaro DOES NOT sit on cinderblocks in my front yard! [:@]

Im sorry. Years of pent up resentment after working for NYC based companies.....

It's all good ScottD. I work in the city too sometimes so I know people can be crazy and are quick to judge others.
