ok im looking at getting rid of these corvette rallies and might buy a set of 17x9 wheels ( dont know the name of them ). But i dont know if they will fit on right, the wheel has a lot of dish but its on the backside. If they did fit with or without a spacer, any ideas on what size tires i should be running?

i bought a pair of c6 chrome wheels a while back for my 91. 17x8 fronts but i needed a spacer cuz they r corvette wheels idk what.they look n fit great the rear tires are huge 295-40 i believe. they are 27 inches tall and a little more then 10 inches wide i only had to bang out the well a quarter inch n they have plenty of room. they give the car an awesome stance n plenty if traction they would have been mad expencive if i didnt have a hook up for them though but yea thats what i know n i like seeing a wide tire in the rear

whats the offset on the wheels? i think in general, the offset is zero, but im not up to par on wheel terminology. to me, it either fits under the fender or not. the front might be a bit wide though, im pretty certain it will rub when you steer. for tires, i think a 255/45/17 will work. a tire shop though will be able to help you more

should be a zero to a negative offset.... i found that out cause im trying to find some 15s for mine i got 17x8 and the fronts want to wander alot cause of the width.... i just had the whole front end worked on so i know its the wide tires in front
