Default wheel and tire help

hello everyone,newbie here

merry christmas to everyone.

i was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on my 95 camaro z28,i just bought it for a good price, however the car is way too low,it has 19 inch giovanni wheels on it,there ugly as hell ill give them to anyone for free as soon as i get a new set of wheels and tires, so my question is this.im looking for a more regular tradtional wheel and tire like a 15 x 8 in the back with a beefier tire and a 15 x 7 in the front maybe american racing thrust wheels or something in that order, the front has an adjustable suspension and the rear im told are eibach springs and shocks, could i get the wheels and tires without changing the suspension?? also i would have no idea on what type of wheels and tire backspacing info to get. anyhelp would be wonderful, i look forward to my time here with my camaro, thanks all Peter

yah just as longe as they dont rub. dont get 15" rims thats way to small it will make your car handle spongy... 16" are factory.. it depends if you want a show look or american muscle look... show=17 or 18... muscle/performance get 16" or 17" torq thrusts or cragars

^^^ agree you dont want to use 15s, 17s seem to be the wheel of choise with most guys. im thinking you have a 2 inch drop spring kit that is sagging or getting worn out. check out strano's site, he has some great 1.2 in drop springs that last pretty good. need to know what kind of adjustables you have in the front. are the springs mounts adjustable or are the shocks themselves adjustable.

yes you could change it back to stock. be a good idea to see what you have first but yah. it may be the previous owner took out the rear spring isolators to drop it more so it would be a good idea to make sure you have them. the front shocks control the pirch of the spring, if they are stock the pirch or base of the spring is not adjustable and stays in one place. an adjustable hight shock will have different settings for the pirch. sooo if you have adjustable then you may be able to raise it to an acceptable level.

the q1 shocks are mostly for race but are top of the line, if you have the right ones you should be able to raise the front. on the back if you can see up in there check to see if the rear isolators are on, a known way of lowering the back of the 4th gen is to remove the rear spring isolators (rubber pad between the spring and body) and put some thick hose on the spring. this lowers the rear about on inch give or take 1/4 in.
