What's the Best Aftermarket Air Intake system?

Well I dont know jack**** about innertubing so Im of no use there...but I read an article years ago about how racers would ice down their intake manifolds just prior to a race. The 5 degrees/1 hp came from that article. Now yer gonna make me go find it!

For a little over $300 (closer to $500) you could get a cam kit (cam, lifters, springs, etc.) from comp cams and a gasket set. Best bang for the buck right there.

Having done every conceivable mod possible to my car (short of a jet engine and flamethrower) I can say the biggest 'seat of the pants' improvement was when I installed my rear end gears. Rear end gears were even more noticeable than when I went from the 305 to the 350. Then again I had 2.77's originally and I went to 3.73's....

the factory setup is about as good as you can make it. I've had sever custom so called cai intakes on my cars. it doesn't do anything worth the expense other then look a bit nicer.
for $300 save your money the motor is too small to bother wasting the time or expense. just enjoy your car for what it is.
