ok im thinking of ordering a combo kit from brodix containing heads, intake manifold, valve covers, along with putting a new cam, lifters, rockers, springs, etc. pretty much everything on the top end. i was wondering what kind of power i could get from this set up and how big of a cam could i go while keeping my power range from 3000 - 7000. also how would this effect my stock bottom end. what do you guys think of this idea ? thanks!!

 

7000 on a stock bottom end and it will blow the crankshaft out of the block, or blow a rod out of the block. Either one being bad. Keep it under 5500. And with a good like either idle-5500 or 1500-6000 set up, with a free flowing exhaust and headers, and an HEI distributor and carb, youd be looking at about 300 hp at the crank. Or if its a 350 maybe a little more like 325. Let me know what the car is stock (indutcuon system, cubic inches, year, etc)
