z06 maf gains for lt1?
I read a post concerning a z28 with a few mods, one of which is a 55mm z06 maf, 5pin or whatever.
I did some basic research and found out the z06 maf went from 55m to 63mm.
My question is, are there any benefits of running a z06 maf (55mm or 63mm) on my 1994 lt1?
I realize the diameter would allow more airflow, but is it a "performance enhancer" of any sort?
*I searched the forums with no results.

not unless you have the mods that require it. im sure there are the few guys that have a failing maf that replace it with a different size and see improvements and claim its the size of the maf that made the difference. if your stock then you have many more paths to take that will gain more for you.

So, aside from the increased airflow, there are no changes made by the pcm to increase fuel consumption or advance timing, ect?
Ive got the breathing part taken care of in my Z, headers, no cat, 3" piping, and one of those BBK 58mm tbs....Oh, a cowl induction intake, im sure that helps a little, lol.
Is there a chance id noticed a difference at this point? Every little bit counts.
