I've never heard of it before I was read someone having in this forum.
I've heard of the 305, 350, 383, and 400 small block chevys.
What is special about the 355?

That is what you get when you overbore a 350. Nothing significant.

nothing really special, just a lot of people send their motors to get rebuilt, and it doesnt really cost that much to get it bored too, so why not get another few extra horsepower for free.
