Default Tyre size 255/60/15

I've just got a set of four new tyres at a very good price, now i know these will fit the rear of the camaro(255/60/15) but i'm just wondering if they will also clear the front

It might be a slim fit up front. I know they tried them on my '84 and they rubbed the wheelwell when fully turned. 235's up front is what works the best...still pretty beefy and they fit well in the wheelwell.

i get tire rub with my 215/60's when i steer hard left, backing up on a hill. i have 255/60 on the rear with stock size rims, and in order for it to make full contact patch without wearing out the center, i have to run 30 psi in it. i street race/cruise on weekends, and i have been floating around a few different pressures and found that 30 is the best overall. also works great in the snow

yea i was riding with blaine (84z28) and on the onramp doing only 35 it sounds like the wheel is goint to come through the wheelwell. Looks good, but i would stay under 275 for the rear and 255 on the front is fine.

Nice one lads, as soon as the car is finished i'll put the 255's on all four corners, and thanks microkid that was going to be my next question.
