Default Car has trouble idle

I got my new motor into my car. Here is a break down. Headers, hi flo cat, edlebrock 3in cat back. Edlebrock intake manifold, smog pump delete. I can drive the car all around no problem. When i come to a stop it will shut off. Any suggestions, also i had really really old gas when i bought the car and then it sat for like another 5 months. Filled up with 93 and gas cleaner new fuel filter also. Have AC Delco standard plugs in now am going to put in bosch P4's in there when i finishing breaking the motor in.

Some times it will idle in park. It idles around 500-750 then cuts out. I was told but a guy that had a similar problem that his fuel pump was bad and not pumping enough pressure, so i am going to check the pressure at the rail.

The fuel pump could be it. If the gas was old enough it could have turned to sludged inside it.

Throttle body injection. My plans are new pump, new pump screen/sock, throttle body rebuild kit, bigger injectors from a 350 truck, and replace any piece of vacum line i see. I am checking on the injectors, if my intel is right then 305 TBI camaro's have 40-45PPH and the trucks come with 55PPH.

If the fuel pump thing turns out negative, check the IAC (idle air control) unit.

my car stalled on me last night. i need a throttle cable because it sticks. i shifted into nuetral going into an intersection and tapped the gas to loosen the cable, and it dropped down to like 600 rpm, then stalled.
