wen i bought the car it didnt come with a trunk key. should i just try to break it with a screwdriver or something?

 

Well I revised my thinking...A Rocket Science and cars are not your line...After my info with hatch and the keys.

 

Dont Break it, Take it to a lock smith before you do that. When my trunk hatch failed it was a plastic gear that was easy to fix. Dont cost yourself more money by breaking anything you will have to fix later. After all its a camaro, opening the hatch really is'nt that important unless you have a flat. go in through back seat for now when accessing the trunk. Dont break it. Take the car to a lock smith and get a key made for your trunk see if it works. Getting keys made is cheap. They may even be able to diagnose your problem.
