how do you get a new trunk key for a camaro

it should be the same key as for your doors, go to home depot there good at cutting, dont go to walmart they suck or just were ever they cut keys ..besides walmart! they suck lol[sm=badidea.gif][sm=badidea.gif]

If your door key dose not work on the hatch, you may have to replace the hatch lock cylinder with new keys.

If your door key works in the doors but not the hatch just pull the lock out and take it to a locksmith and they will replace the tumblers.

ok say you lose the key that goes to your rearhatch and doors how would some one go about opening the rear hatch to remove said tumbler?

Well one would hope people would be smart enough to always have a spare. You never know when you might get locked in your car.
If not then pull a door lock out and get a key made to it.

brothers 86 top only came with2 key ignition and dor ,door key was lost next day but thanks for the idea never thought to just pull the door lock

A locksmith can also make a key with the lock in the door by fileing on a blank but I seen them do a better job when they take the lock apart so they can look at the tumblers.

Cheaper to replace the lock cylinder. Been there and done it.
