Default tpi ide problems

I have a 88 tpi motor in a 85 camaro,I have all of the wiring in the right place and all components and sensors are new, except for the cold start injector, thermo time switch, iac vale, and iat sensor. The engine will only run if I hold the throttle slightly open. The engine will not start on its own, and won't idle, any suggestions?

Try cleaning the IAC (idle air control)or check your TPS (thottle position sensor) and see if this improves the idle 550/650 rpms. Forget about the cold start injector & CTS (coolant temperature sensor) they are not the problem.

Yea I did remove the tps on the throttle body to clean the throttle body, and I might not have it back in its original position. The engine would idle at first though when I broke-in the cam, but I was getting a trouble code telling me the mass air flow sen. was bad so I had to unplug it so the engine would even run half-decent. I have a new sensor now and right after I put it on is when this idle problem started. I will have to check on that tps at some point, thanks for the advice.
