This may be a dumb question. Will a torque converter from a TH350 fit a 700R4 Trans? My 383 motor came with the TH350 but i want to put a trans with an overdrive in it, i dont know the specifics on the cam of the motor so if i need a new torque coverter is there any ideas on what size i should get? The cam is pretty choppy.

 

no 700r4 is a lockup converter. have a look here, probly lookin at a 2000 stall for yours.
