I dont know whats up with my third tail light on my 89 RS, but at times one of the lights wont light, and another it will. All the bulbs are farely fresh and one is brand new, the new one seems to be the problemed one. Sometimes it lights, sometimes it dont. Its in all the way, fits tight. A friend had one and said his had the same problem so he just disconnected the whole light untill inspections and just hoped it worked. Are there replacements for the light bar or am i just SOL here.

 

I have that problem with my 91. It does not work until I open it then its fine! Just a poor connection in the light sockets. Maybe a little corosion.
