Hi, New to the forum!

I have a slight problem. Actually it's my dad's problem. If you can see in my sig, my dad has a 88 IROC that is FULLY original! Now we are running into problems with seals, gas lines, ect.

The T Tops are leaking bad, a glass place told him that the only way to repair the seals was to buy the WHOLE assembly (seals and glass)

I figured I would find some answers on here, so can anyone help?

Can just the seals alone be bought? I know t tops are prone to leaking, but someone has to know more than I do about them.

u can buy just the rubber seals by themselves, u dont have to get new glass

they're based here in NC, i purchase most of my camaro parts from them

 

I think classic industries and ecklers both will also carry the seals... when you put the new ones on...just put vasoline on them every once in a while.

 

My dad wants to know if there is a "drain tube" in the seals???

 

not sure, ive never heard the term in reference to camaro t-tops

 

no, as far as i know there was no drain tube.

 

i think this may help there is an article in may camaro performers "t-top blues" it gives you step by step instructions and a kit from classic industries. hopefully this will help. I know it helped me
