Default Bad window seals...

Ya so I found out my window seals are bad, the HARD WAY. I was running short on time, and I wanted my car washed, so I took it to a pressure wash place....BAD...IDEA...My car got washed, and I got washed. Im not talken like a occasional spray in, I mean like I thought the window was down partially. It was like a f*cken waterfall. So ya I found that my window seals were bad, got my car washed, and took a bath all at the same time. Lol

And before anyone jumps on me about this...I know my car is a 4th gen, but I accidentally posted in 3rd gens...I guess thats what I get for trying to do mutiple things at once.

I wont DARE take mine to an automatic wash. After a good rain my seats have 1 or 2 damp spots, there is no telling what a pressure washer would do!

Yeah, I learned that lesson with my Wrangler . . . I figured it was better to let the people at the carwash deal with all that mud rather than letting fall on my driveway.. . . I would've SWORN that I'd closed up all the zippers.

I feel your pain; my fiance was riding in mine the other day and kept asking me to turn the vent off . . . yeah, not the vent. *sigh* one more thing to fix . . .

I would not say the seals are bad just yet. Pressure wash can blow through them easy when the spray hits it right.
