ok so he says the motor is from a 79 chevelle. I can not find any parts from that year. Can someone help me please.

 

how much money do u have to put into this car? and do you plan on doing it yourself or have a shop do it?

 

i will have roughly 2-3 grand. Ill be doing most of it myself. This camaro was originly a v6. Should i get a new rearend?

 

parts for a 79 350 will be everywhere. almost every part for a 350 from 1955-1985 are the same with an exception of a few seals that may have been updated. the rear end will be fine with a mild 350, ive seen people run a nitroused 383 and slicks on a stock 7.5 10 bolt. most people dont like them, but as long as you dont try to do wheelies with it, it will be fine. it is probably an open rear as it was a v6. i do have a posi rear that will be for sale in a little while because im buying a 12 bolt rear for my car.

 

i would defiantly go with what someone else said forgot who..but show up with 1.2k and wave it in his face see if he'll take it...people will always be more willing when the money is actually there in their hands
