rough idle and voltage drops
89 iroc 350tpi has rough idle and voltage drops real low. Today bogged out like it was diying gave it some gas died like I flooded it. Showing codes 33&44. Real recent tune up & checked all vac lines. Any help plz dont want to just start buying parts

moved your post and created a thread for ya. you somehow ended up in the 4th gen (93-02) section, your now in the 3rd generation section. should get some help from the guys here.

For 1989 and earlier models Code 33 refers to the MAF sensor. Try cleaning the MAF without causing damage, look for bad electrical connections between MAF and ECM, vacuum leaks and/or clogged vacuum hoses, also check air duct from MAF to throttle valve for splits and leaks. Try a new MAF.
Code 44 refers to a lean exhaust which could be due to bad injector, vacuum leak, low fuel pressure, bad electrical connections, bad O2 sensor, exhaust leak before the O2 sensor, or even a bad MAF. Any air getting into the engine without first passing through the MAF will result in a lean condition. The O2 aenso will try to correct for it, but the ECM will complain.
A poor running engine will tend to idle too slow and allow the voltage to drop. Conversely, too low a voltage due to a charging system problem, will cause low ignition voltage, misfires, rough running, and cause sensors to malfunction.
