Default A/c only blowes on the floor.

Hello, I have a 1984 Z-28 Convertible. Everything looks stock except the stereo. I can't get the A/C to blow threw the vents on the dash. It only blowes on the floor but, it is cold. What is usually the problem?

what about heat settings? a lack of vacuum will default it to defrost. sounds like something is stuck inside the box

84 z28 convertible? I was under the impression that wasn't an available model unless done by an aftermarket firm. Not to sidetrack the original question....

The A/c only blows on the floor. The car was converted by Auto Forms.

I can move the selector but, it doesn't make any noises nor does it change anything. Tim

you need to do a couple of things

first, remove the plastic cover by the passengers foot area so you can see what is going on

next, check the vacuum connection for hvac under the hood (good time to get a shop manual me thinks because it has all the diagrams)
