Default Roll cage install

I am looking for detailed insteuction on installing a 10 point mild steel roll cage in my 82 camaro. I do not want to use the little 6x6" floor plates and want to tie into the frame as I want to be as safe as possible and plan to get it certified to 8.50 (it will be mig or tig welded ny a professional). If anyone knows of a good how to link I would be most appreciated to get it.

Thx,
SMM

Being that the car has no real frame, the floor will have to anchor the roll cage, and the floor is not strong enough to take the load without reinforcements.

Pete,
I have installed weld in subframe connectors and I have heard that you can tie into them withous using the floor pan with the 6x6 plates as the anchor.

That sounds like a good option, as long as the sanctioning bodies approve.
