Default Rebuilding rear axle

Hey, I need to rebuild my rear axle. I know I can fit an axle out of a z28 in my car witch come with disk brakes. Which is some thing I want to add to my stock axle if I end up rebuilding it… I guess what I am trying to ask is should I rebuild my stock axle or rebuild one from a Z28?

Make your life easy, get a complete axle with disk brakes, calipers, rotors. etc.. If you get a good one you may not have to rebuild it. Otherwise you will have to hunt up all the parts for the disk brake conversion, plus rebuilding the axle.

Yeah... I was looking for a direct bolt on axle brand new that could handle some big hp but it doesn’t seem like I can find anything but I known they are out there…. Like a Borg-Warner or DTS…. But it sees like every thing has to be custom fitted…
