88 Camaro, the right axle seal is leaking, I have the cover off, and a luck would have it the pinion shaft and bolt were right in position. Looks like the bolt is a 5/16 set screw. I am told not to ruin this bolt and that it may have lock tite on the thread. These are to be torqued to 28 FT PDs, seems like a lot of torque. Any ideas guys?

 

Yes that is were you start to take that baby apart. After pulling the shaft try and keep everything separated so the pieces can go back from where they came.
