Default really bad oil leak all over starter!

whats up guys, i need your help! This saturday i have a race to win (in the california speed way) ,but im out if i cant find this oil leak.I cant really tell where its coming from, my starter is soaked with motor oil and a little under the water pump it started a week after i put the motor together. It runs great though. When i floor it is when it really leaks alot and falls on the exhaust pipe.I took of the starter and its not the dip stick. Any ideas?I did not mess with the oil pan so i dont know.its a 350 tpi withe headers and some head work automatic. And again it leaks alot after i step on it.So what would leak that much when pressure builds? Thanks for any input guys,if i get-er done by sat ill let you guys know my 1/4 mile time. Thanks

Check you valve covers. Sometimes when you put in new gaskets the bolts fit through the gasket snug and will twist the gasket as you tighten the bolts.

IF YOU MESSED WITH THE MECHANICAL FUEL PUMP CHECK THE BOLTS THAT HOLD IT TOGETHER. AND CHECK THE GASKET. I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WHEN I PUT MY MOTOR TOGETHER. THE BOLTS WERENT TIGHT ENOUGH. AND IT MADE A HELL OF A MESS.

When I got my car it had an oil leak like that. Oil came out in buckets. THen I saw a little puff of smoke coming from the block......Somebody before me removed the smog pump and bracket, but didnt put the screw back in the hole. (thought it was a blind hole) Its worth a shot, and its just below your fuel pump.

ok,I found the (leaks!)Yhe first one is in the back of the intake manifold where it meets the block.the second is comming from the crank seal in the front.back to the intake,is it suposed to have a gasket in the front and back of the intake because i was told by the machine shop that i only need silicon?how hard is the crank seal to change and how? Thanks guys. I have discoverd a rod is bent!should i get the whole set?
