The standard engine and most common for the 1983 Z-28 was the LG4 150 Hp carb type. Tranny was 700R4 auto in most cars. Crossrire & L69 engines were low volume production on the Z-28.

It may seem logical to you but GM did not offer that Auto on the 1983 model.[sm=chairshot.gif]

It was an L69 305 H.O. with 190HP and 240 ft-lbs of torque, was only available with a 5-speed manual tranny (although i dont know what kind it is) and was only available with a 3.73 rear end. Dont knopw production numbers but there were 62000 z-28's and very few were the L-69 they only started it halfway through 1983. So you do have there a somewhat rare 3rd gen.

i dont even know if thats what i got. im just trying to find out what i could have possibly had stock.
