how rare would you guys say a 83' z28 with an L69 and a 400r4 is..all original

You might have the only one in the world! I have never even heard of any Camaro let alone any other car with a "400r4"

Oh well you got nothing too special then. Its not as rare as the cross fire but that system was not so great. And H.O. upgrade kits were sold.
If you look at the total number of Z28's built there were over 62,000 in 83 But only over 6,000 in 92 counting only counting the Z28 coupe and convertable for 92

I don't call any 3rd Gen car Rare for one. Also NO 1983 Z28 L69 engine car came with 700R4 Auto. For your info they were avaiable ONLY with a 5-sp that year. So if its a Auto it is not a Stock Factory L69.[sm=chairshot.gif]

There were 3,223 of them made. Could a 700r4 be a manual?

the closest thing to a manual 700r4 would be if you shifted in yourself

i never said i have and L69 with a 700r im just trying to figure out what my car had back in 83' when some lucky person drove it off the lot. All i know is that now it has a 350 and a 700r...whatis the most common engine and tranny combination for an 83' z28?
