In a 1996 camaro, I know you can get the motor out by dropping the whole assembly out the bottom fo the car. But if you do not have access to a hoist this is not so easy to do.

Has anyone pulled the motor out the top? The motor looks to be tuck in there pretty deep. Is this possible? Is it the normal way?

Sorry, not really a Camaro guy, but its my Sons car, somehow he's become infected with Camaro's.

I read some of the "stickies" but did not see an answer to this.
