Default Possible u-joint problem?

So whenever i go from "no gas"(coast) to "GAS", the car jerks foreward and if i then let off the gas imediately, it will jerk backward. sometimes when going down hill or in a parking lot or something, if I do this more than once in rhythm, it will start jerking back and forth until i ease in to either the clutch or the gas, and when it is bucking like a cow, i notice that the rpm needle matches the jerkiness , like its stalling out. Could this be my u joints? any tips?

Could possibly be a motor mount or tranny mount being broken.

Yeah Danzig is probably right! Try this with hood opened and if the E-brake holds good, apply the E-brake and in reverse let off the clutch til she's trying to move and watch the motor, for movement, if she moves!! motor mount passenger side then try it in first gear and watch for engine roll, if the tranny mount is bad the stick will try to come out of your hand side to side (karate kid, danielson show me sand the floor, paint the fence, fix my car, LOL ) sorry just fooling around, anyway try those things, and it will tell ya engine mount? tranny mount? or both. U- Joints will give u a clunking noise, but not so much the jerking effect, but if this has been going on awile, it will damage the U-joints, and possibly snap one off, watch the diff too.

It could be your pressure plate or your flywheel may have some high spots. May need to pull flywheel and have it resurfaced . Hope this helped.

Yeah, definitely a motor mount. If it was thetranny mount was bad the shifter would be all over the place. Problems with the pressure plate or flywheel would show up when the clutch is disengaged, not after it has already been let out.

Default Still bucking ans jerking away.

So the Symptoms:
Pulsating or jerking under low throttle
a jerk or shudder when the load is changed (coast -> accel)

Ive already changed the following without solving it:
Coil
O2 Sensor
Knock Sensor
and the PROM chip
motor mounts
tranny mount

These are what i think might be the problem:
Fuel Pump
MAP sensor
Throttle Position Sensor
U-Joints

?????????????????

one other thing, i noticed that the rear distributor Cap bolt is a little loose, because the hole is stripped. just as thought
i have had this problem since ive had the car and just gotten used to it, and how to avoid it.
Please help.
thanks, kevin
