Default no power to fuel pump

Ok so one day my car dies, and no that im wanting to drive it im trying to find out why its getting no power to the pump, the relay clicks on and off, and the fuse is good. But when you crawl under the car and unplug the connector for the fuel pump its getting no power to either of the 2 power wires. is there a safety switch or something somewhere?

Did you try testing the connector with the key-on only or are youpowering up at the ALDLdata connector? The reason I ask is that you do know that the f/pump is only energized for only a few seconds with KO.

ya, i had my buddy lay under the car with a test light as i turned it over and he said the light never came on.
as fas as the aldl connector, is that the one thats under the dash with like 6 wires and you jump 2 of them to see your engine codes ? because when we tried to check the codes, my plug the wires arent in the same location as shown in all the photos on the top row the 3rd ones missing and i believe theres only one on the bottom row but neither are in the correct location to jump to read the codes

Try replacing the fuel pump relay located on the firewall.

ok so i tested the wires on my relay, and theresa small black one, a thick black one, a thick red one, and a small green one.....when we used a test light the red one had power, and when you turn the key on the thin black one would get power but the green one never got power, so does that mean the relay is bad?

It is about $15.00 part so it would not be that bad to replace. it.
