Default No Handbrake

Hi Folks, I just bought a Z28 1984 and its got no handbrake at all. all the mechanics work fine but the back calipers do nothing when the handbrake is engaged. Is there any adjustment??? or is there a kit I need to put through the calipers to make the hand brake work??? any advise would be greatly appreciated .....Cheers Mark

my 83 is the same way. There is an adjustment underneith the car. Look around and see if you can find it. it should be at the split for the hand brake cables. Also there should be an adjustment on the hand brake inside the console...

most likely the bars in the back brakes are shot, and you just have to buy a kit for it. also, you must adjust it afterwards
